Thorium Cloud

Thorium Cloud is the remote management platform for your Thorium EV charging controllers. It gives operators a real-time dashboard to monitor sessions, adjust pricing, view analytics, and manage multiple units from a single interface — accessible from any browser at cloud.thorium.gr.

What Is Thorium Cloud?

While each Thorium unit operates independently (processing payments, controlling chargers, and metering energy locally), Thorium Cloud adds a layer of remote visibility and control. Every session, configuration change, and status update is synced to the cloud in real time, enabling operators to manage their charging infrastructure without being physically present.

Thorium Cloud is optional — your unit works perfectly without it. However, for operators managing more than one unit, or those who need access to analytics and remote configuration, it is an essential tool.

• Live dashboard — see the real-time status of every channel across all your units. Active sessions, energy delivered, and current draw at a glance.
• Remote pricing — change per-kWh rates, time-based pricing, or hybrid models for any unit from your browser. Changes push to the unit in under 2 seconds.
• Session history — searchable, filterable log of every charging session with energy, duration, cost, and payment details.

• Remote session control — start free sessions, stop active sessions, or enable/disable channels remotely.
• Configuration management — push firmware updates, adjust session timeouts, change preauthorization amounts, and configure network settings.
• Alerts & notifications — receive email or SMS alerts for hardware faults, network disconnections, failed payments, or unusual activity.
• Multi-site management — group units by location, assign per-site managers, and view aggregate statistics across your entire fleet.
• Audit log — every configuration change is logged with a timestamp, the user who made it, and the old and new values.

How to Access

Thorium Cloud is a web application accessible at cloud.thorium.gr. It works on any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on desktop, tablet, or mobile. There is no native app to install — the web interface is fully responsive and optimized for all screen sizes.

Account Setup

1. Visit cloud.thorium.gr and click Create Account.
2. Enter your name, email address, and a strong password.
3. Verify your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email.
4. Once logged in, navigate to Units → Add Unit.
5. Enter the serial number and pairing code printed on the label inside the Thorium enclosure.
6. The unit will appear on your dashboard within 30 seconds, showing its current status.

Thorium Cloud is available as a monthly subscription:

Every new Thorium unit comes with a 3-month free trial of Thorium Cloud. No credit card is required during the trial. After the trial ends, you can subscribe to continue using Cloud features, or simply let it expire — your unit will continue to operate normally without Cloud connectivity.

Data and Privacy

Thorium Cloud stores session data, unit configuration, and analytics on servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We do not store card numbers or sensitive payment data — all payment processing is handled directly by Viva Wallet. For full details, see our privacy policy at thorium.gr/privacy.
